We have worked with a number of clients, each with their own ideas and needs. Throughout our work, we aim to deliver quality website design and development, which meets our clients expectations.
Some of our work has been listed below:
As an established company, with a large website containing several subsites, Brunning and Price wanted to redevelop their site to help make the content more manageable.
Kingfisher Computer Services were asked to work with the in-house team to develop the database systems and front-end coding for the website.
In this major project, KCS provided integration with numerous external systems (Multimap API, Blogger, photo galleries and web forum software), as well as developing a new staff area to aid communication thorugh the company.
As a new business, Diva Days wanted to create a new website with a fresh look. With a strong idea of what was wanted, Diva Days needed their concepts put into action.
Based on clear design ideas, Kingfisher Computer Services developed a new website and a range of matching stationery and other printed material in the same style.
Fiona needed a new website and logo to advertise her hypnotherapy business. KCS Web Design created a template driven site with a new logo and visual identiy to suit Fiona's needs.
This site was designed to provide both a public face of Scouting, along with a members area to help promote communication amongst the different Groups in the area. The site incorporates a powerful custom built content management system, allowing registered users to contribute to the information it stores, which in addition to being shown on the site is automatically distributed to an associated mailing list each month providing a dynamically created e-newsletter. As well as member features, this site also incorporates features aimed at attracting new members, such as as clickable map to find the nearest Group, and an online enquiry form which will automatically direct information requests to the appropriate local Group contact.
AC Pro Car had an existing website, which needs regular updates with new stock. KCS were asked to update the stock pages on the site with new images and descriptions, and remove old stock.
PATI wanted a web site that could promote their various training courses, offering users the ability to book places on the courses and request information on future courses.
Kingfisher Computer Services provided a site that combined a custom built calendar, news and bookings application, along with facilities to collect and use visitors email addresses for promoting future courses.
Red Onion, a London based studio and agency, had asked a local company to produce a new website for them. When the website was delivered, some parts were not completed, and the company was no longer available.
Red Onion contacted KCS to get their site up and running, and to provide on-going support for any problems their site users would encounter. We worked through the original company's code, changing test information to production site details, making sure that Red Onion could use their new site.
An easy to manage website built around the needs of a new private ambulance business.
The Pulse Ambulance & Medical Services website combines static HTML content, with dynamic database driven information for outputting latest news through a purpose built content management system
Wetherall Insurance Advisors already had a website, which had been developed several years earlier and was in need of updating. They had recently had new stationary and logos developed, and wanted a new website that would reflect their new look. Kingfisher Computer Services worked with them to develop the crisp new look site, that closely mirrors the look and feel of their printed media.
It was important that the site offered an easy means of contact to help generate new leads, so we incorporated a custom feedback form.
Design, build and ongoing maintenance of a brochure style website. We were asked to produce a clear, easy to read design that is fast to load and navigate. In common with many of our designs, we also optimised the printing of pages, automatically removing content that is only relevant to the screen from printed versions of the page, and ensuring that the print-outs don't miss out the end of the lines.
No Limits already had a website which had been built in FrontPage using frames, an old way of laying out sites that needed updating! We recreated the look and feel of the site, while bringing it up to modern web standards, making it easy to access across a wide variety of user platforms.
